Esteva Red Wine 2023

Esteva is an attractive and elegant red wine from Douro, combining character and versatility with a very affordable choice, ideal for everyday use. Esteva is part of the celebrated Casa Ferreirinha wine range, the brand with the longest tradition in producing quality wines from Douro and one of the world's leading references for this region. Created at Quinta do Seixo, it is still mostly vinified at the same estate, using grapes from our vineyards as well as grapes from the surrounding higher altitude areas. After gentle crushing and destemming, the grapes are sent to stainless steel tanks where skin maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place. During this phase, gentle macerations are carried out using the pump-over system with controlled temperature.
