Porto Barros is a Colheita from Douro, Portugal, produced by Barros. Made from the grape varieties Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional, it reveals an intense and delicate aroma, with notes of ripe crystallized fruit, spices, and honey. On the palate, it is vibrant, with a well-present acidity enveloping hints of crystallized fruit, reminiscent of apricot and black cherry; the tannins are soft and smooth, giving a very elegant structure. It pairs perfectly with egg sweets and desserts with dried fruits. Awarded a Gold Medal at the International Wine Challenge. Available at Azdrinks.
