Nikka Yoichi Single Malt Whisky is a whisky with a firm and authentic character, produced by Nikka in the Sendai region of Japan. On the nose, it reveals a full-bodied and smooth profile, with gentle peat and salty notes upfront, evolving into crystallized citrus fruits like lemon and orange, black licorice, spices such as nutmeg and ginger, hints of roots and dry twigs, and an intoxicating floral touch of clove and iris. On the palate, it is firm and powerful, combining peat and smoke with spices, fresh fruits like melon and kiwi, almond and walnut nuts, and subtle notes of chocolate.
