Quinta Dos Murças Margem Red 2022

The Quinta dos Murças Margem comes from vineyards near the bank of the Douro River, where some of the oldest plots of the estate are located. Its low altitude and predominantly south-facing exposure produce grapes that achieve greater concentration and ripening. Vinification of Quinta das Murças Margem Red Wine: Hand harvesting, sorting table, destemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures (25ºC to 28ºC) in granite lagares with foot treading and pressing in an old vertical press. Aging in 500-liter used French oak barrels for about 9 months.
