The Quinta dos Murças VV47 comes from a historic vineyard, the oldest vertical vineyard in Douro, planted in 1947, with a Southeast exposure and 40% slope. It expresses the maximum expression of our terroir and its potential, characterized by its elegance, harmony, and complexity. Vinification of Quinta dos Murças VV47 Wine: Manual harvest, selection table, destemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures (25º to 28ºC), in granite lagares with foot treading and pressing in an old vertical press. Aging: In used French oak barrels for about 12 months.
