Rum El Dorado is a unique rum, due to being the only rum of the "Rum Demerara" style and possessing the oldest wooden stills in the world still in operation, some dating back to the 17th century. A rum aged in barrels for a minimum of 5 years results in a rum with a delicate and award-winning amber color, very complex and mature with a distinctive delicate flavor thanks to its aging in ex-bourbon oak barrels. El Dorado 5 years has a unique character that comes from a talented blend of rums traditionally distilled in stills such as the Savalle from Uitvlugt and the wooden Coffey still from Enmore. It is characterized by being versatile and at the same time to be enjoyed simply with ice.
