Description
Winemaking of Quinta Vale D'Aldeia Reserva Red Wine: Grapes are hand-harvested into 20 Kg boxes at their ideal ripeness, aiming for a vigorous maturation leading to greater aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, allowing the quality constituents present in the skins of the fully ripe grapes to gently pass into the wine. This wine was aged for 14 months in 400L French oak barrels (2nd year).
