Vertente Red 2021

Vertente Tinto is a red wine from Douro, Portugal, crafted by the producer Niepoort. Made from the Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca grape varieties, it reveals a young, rich, and complex aroma profile, with black pepper, red and wild fruits, highlighting plum and cherry; the oak is well integrated with subtle smoky notes and a mineral touch of wet stone. On the palate, it shows grip and nerve, with an enveloping structure, maintaining finesse and elegance; the tannins are very well integrated and the balanced acidity leads to a long and very pleasant finish.
