Description
White wine made from Alvarinho grape variety exclusively produced in Monção and Melgaço. The vineyards are near the river, at low altitude, and the soils are deep with a high content of rolled stones. The wine has complexity, vegetal character, minerality, and bitterness typical of the Alvarinho variety. Vinification of Vinho Verde Alvarinho Contact: Total destemming. Short skin maceration. Medium clarification done by cold. Fermentation at a constant speed between 14-22ºC. Minimum aging of 4 months on fine lees.
