Burmester Ensaio No. 1 WhiteTwo grape varieties with opposite characteristics, in Douro, but at the same time complement each other: one is aromatic and the other mineral, one is structured and with ripe fruit and the other is elegant and fresh.Vinification of Burmester Ensaio No. 1:The harvest was entirely manual and the grapes were transported to the winery in 20 Kg boxes, where they remained in the cold room until the next morning. The grapes were selected on a sorting table, gently destemmed and pressed. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, with temperature control (between 12ºC and 16ºC), for 25 days. The wine remained aging on fine lees until bottling.
