    Description

    The grape varieties chosen for this harvest were GOUVEIO and VIOSINHO located in the Alijó Plateau at an average altitude of 600 meters, situated on granite/transition soils with an average age of 30 years and a productivity of around 4,500 kg per hectare. Grapes were handpicked into 19 kg boxes, subjected to a thermal shock (8 to 10ºC) before being processed.
