Quinta Do Cardo Grand Reserve White 2021

Vinification of Quinta do Cardo Grande Reserva White: After pressing the grapes, the must fermented in 500-liter barrels, both new and used, made of French oak. This was followed by one year of aging on the total fermentation lees. Quinta do Cardo is the most historic wine estate in Beira Interior, located between the protected landscape of the Douro International Reserve and the historic village of Castelo Rodrigo, at an altitude of around 750 meters. Its 180 hectares of land include forest, cork oaks, and about 80 hectares of vineyard, certified organic since 2009. The estate is a carefully preserved ecosystem that promotes biodiversity and the development of native fauna and flora, contributing to the creation of genuine wines with a strong sense of terroir.
