Porto Borges Reserve Tawny

Profile that combines some freshness with complex notes of its evolution. Batch aged about 7 to 8 years. Vinification of Porto Borges Reserva Tawny: after receiving the grapes, which should arrive at the winery in perfect condition, they are crushed and destemmed. They ferment for 3 to 4 days with the skins, regularly immersed by remontages, for greater extraction of color and aromas. This is followed by the separation of the skins from the must, and grape spirit at 77% v/v is added so that the wine has 19% alcohol and 90 to 120 g/l of reducing sugars from the grape itself. The aging takes place in small capacity barrels and wooden casks.
