Porto Fonseca LBV 2019 is an excellent LBV from Douro, Portugal, crafted by the producer Fonseca. Made from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca grape varieties, it reveals a wonderfully exuberant, perfumed, and aromatic nose, with black cherry and plum, subtle notes of cedar and spices. On the palate, it is rich, round, and concentrated, with layers of red and black currant, spices, a touch of Ceylon tea, and marked freshness; elegant, complex, and with an intense and persistent finish.
