Porto Fundador Tawny

Porto Fundador is among the best-selling brands of Porto wine in Portugal. Launched on the market in 1928, it became one of the best-selling brands of Porto wine due to its quality as a 5-year tawny. Vinification of Porto Fundador Wine: fermentation begins in self-fermenters with skin contact until fermentation is stopped by the addition of grape spirit. The candidates for the blend then age in oak barrels to preserve the fruity aromas and all the freshness of the wine.
