Porto Krohn Lbv 2017

The Late Bottled Vintage, or LBV, was developed as a high-quality alternative to Porto Vintage, aimed at more immediate consumption and more informal occasions. Like the Vintage, the LBV comes from excellent quality wines of a single harvest. However, while the Vintage is bottled two years after the harvest, the LBV is left longer in the wooden cask and bottled only between the fourth and sixth year after the harvest. The wines used to produce Krohn LBV are chosen from among the best and most full-bodied red Porto wines produced, coming from vineyards located in the Douro Valley.
