Porto Offley White

Offley White is a rich white Vinho do Porto, full of freshness and youth, created for the delight of many consumers by Offley, the prestigious brand that combines contemporaneity with nearly three centuries of experience. Offley Porto White is produced according to the traditional Vinho do Porto method. The hand-picked grapes are destemmed and crushed, followed by fermentation with skin maceration to extract the best constituents. The addition of grape spirit establishes the balance between the body and aroma of the wine, with the ideal moment determined by the Enology team after rigorous control of fermentation temperatures and densities, a factor that varies according to the grape variety, degree of ripeness, and desired final sweetness. The wines remain in the Douro until transported to V.N.Gaia the following spring, after being racked and corrected. In Offley's century-old cellars, the wines age in oak barrels, following the traditional Vinho do Porto system. Over the years, the wines are carefully racked, tasted, and analyzed, and the final blend is always made maintaining the characteristics of Offley Porto White. The selected wines are usually between 2 and 5 years old (average age of 3 years). The final blend is filtered and cold stabilized before bottling.
