Porto Quinta da Pacheca LBV 2018Pacheca Porto LBV results from grapes coming from Old Vines that were transported in 25Kg boxes, subjected to a rigorous sorting at the winery entrance. After destemming and crushing, they are taken to a traditional stone lagar where they were trodden by men for 3 hours on the first day. During fermentation, remontages are done to leach the cap, extract color and aromatic compounds. Then, the fortification is carried out, thus stopping the fermentation. It aged in 600-liter casks, where it remained for about 4 years. It was bottled without filtration, being subject, during its aging, to forming a slight deposit.
