Planalto Reserve Dry White 2024

Planalto is today one of the greatest references for white wine in the Douro Demarcated Region, the result of extensive studies carried out over the years, the careful selection of the grape varieties that compose it, and the use of the best winemaking technology in its production. Grapes from selected varieties coming from the high areas of the Douro region. In these high-altitude zones, grapes with the desired ripeness and acidity for this type of wine are chosen. After gentle destemming, the grapes are pressed, followed by a low-temperature decantation with strict oenological control. Once the necessary clarity is obtained, a long alcoholic fermentation follows at a controlled temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC. The wines are stored in the Vila Real Winery, separated by grape variety or vineyard.
