Quinta De Lemos Touriga Do Bosque Red 2015

Portuguese native grape variety from the Dão region. This variety, with high enological potential and a robust stature, is managed within an integrated protection program, with the application of herbicides prohibited. Harvesting is manual, when the grapes reach the optimal ripening point, occurring between the 2nd half of September and the 1st half of October. The harvest is done in small 10 kg boxes. These wines are obtained after fermentation at controlled temperature to preserve all aromatic elegance, in wooden vats and stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels followed by aging for 18 months to enhance its structure and complexity. Production: 30,240 bottles
