Description
Winemaking of Quinta do Cardo Vinha do Castelo Tinta Roriz Red Wine: Made from Tinta Roriz grape variety, planted in the Castle vineyard, at an altitude of 780 meters, a plot that experiences large temperature variations, giving the grapes character and a very distinctive style. The grapes were handpicked and selected, transported to the winery where they were destemmed and foot-trodden. It fermented for 8 days at a controlled temperature of 26ºC. It aged for 22 months in French oak barrels.
