Description
The grapes from Old Vines were transported in 22 kg capacity boxes and subjected to a rigorous sorting on a selection table at the entrance of the winery. After total destemming and slight crushing, the must was transferred to stainless steel fermentation tanks with controlled temperature. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, a gentle pressing was carried out. Quinta do Crasto Reserva Vinhas Velhas aged in French oak barrels (85%) and American oak barrels (15%), where it remained for about 18 months.
