Brandy Metaxa 7 Stars

To obtain this brandy, three different varieties of grapes are used (Sultana, Savatiano, and Corinth). After the distillate is obtained, its aromas are left to develop in Limousin oak barrels for a minimum period of three years. Muscat grapes (from Samos or Lemnos), rose flower essences, and a secret series of aromatic plants are added to the brandy. Then, this new mixture is placed back into a barrel for another year. Before bottling, Metaxa spends several days at below-zero temperature, is filtered, and finally bottled. Aged for 5 years in oak barrels. Distillation in a discontinuous still.
