2 Quintas White Magnum 2023

Winemaking of Vinho 2 (Duas) Quintas Branco: The harvest date for each plot is decided after successive grape tastings in the field. Once the decision is made, the grapes are handpicked and transported to the winemaking center, separated by grape variety and plot. This is followed by a cold whole-cluster maceration for approximately 24 hours. The fresh grapes are gently pressed and the must is transferred to underground tanks, where it is settled. Then the must's turbidity is adjusted and fermentation begins. About 90% of the wine ferments and ages in stainless steel tanks, and the remaining 10% in French and Austrian oak barrels of different capacities.
