Description
Winemaking of the Wine 2 (Two) Quintas Reserva Red 2019: The grapes, coming from selected plots of our Quintas of Ervamoira and Bons Ares, were harvested and manually selected in small-volume boxes. The grapes from Quinta de Ervamoira were vinified in granite lagares and those from Quinta dos Bons Ares in round concrete and wooden vats. After racking and pressing in a vertical press, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in 6000 to 10000-liter barrels. It aged for 18 months in barrels and in new and one-year-old French oak casks. The wine was bottled in May 2019.
