Old Brandy Chancella Velha

Famous for its Porto Wine since 1751, Ferreira is also dedicated to the selection and aging of high-quality wine spirits. It is in our cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia that the spirits are carefully chosen and aged in 270-liter oak casks. To achieve the highest quality, tastings and the blending of various batches of different ages and characteristics are periodically carried out. After the final batch is chosen, the spirit is placed in 640-liter casks, where it ages. The Aguardente Velha Chancella is obtained through selected spirits (liqueur obtained through the distillation of white wines) from high-quality batches. It is a natural spirit without additives and aged for several years in Portuguese oak casks in Ferreira's cellars.
