Old Brandy Chancella Velha

Famous for its Port wine since 1751, Ferreira also dedicates itself to the selection and aging of high-quality grape brandies. It is in our cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia that the brandies are carefully selected and aged in 270-liter oak casks. In order to achieve maximum quality, periodic tastings and the introduction of various batches of different ages and characteristics are carried out. After the final batch is chosen, the brandy is placed in 640-liter casks, where it ages. The Aguardente Velha Chancella is obtained through selected brandies (liquor obtained through the distillation of white wines) from high-quality batches. It is a natural brandy without additives and aged for several years in Portuguese oak casks in the Ferreira cellars.
