Old Brandy Palácio Da Brejoeira

Alvarinho and Palácio da Brejoeira are almost synonymous. It is the producer with the most history and tradition in the production of wines from this grape variety, almost to the point of saying that it was because of it that the Alvarinho white wine became known and today holds the status it has. Quinta da Brejoeira is located in Monção and is a property with 30 hectares, of which 18 are vineyards exclusively planted with Alvarinho. The emblem of the estate and the region is its palace, a grand neoclassical construction from the late 19th century (1806). D. Hermínia Paes presided over the destiny of this magnificent property and was the great architect of its success. Vinification of the Palácio da Brejoeira Old Brandy: obtained from the distillation of quality Alvarinho grapes, it is aged in French oak barrels, remaining at a constant temperature in the old cellar of Palácio da Brejoeira, aging between 10 to 12 years.
