Description
The Quintas de Melgaço Alvarinho Vinho Verde is a Vinho Verde made exclusively with Alvarinho grape variety from the Monção and Melgaço Sub-Region, the most noble of the Vinho Verde region, where Alvarinho finds unique conditions for its production. Vinification of the Quintas de Melgaço Alvarinho Vinho Verde: Gentle pressing and decanting for 12 to 36 hours at a controlled temperature between 12ºC - 16ºC. Fermentation up to 15 days with temperature control between 16ºC - 18ºC. Aging: in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature and regular stirring of the lees for 2 months.
