Description
Description
The Vinho Verde Quintas de Melgaço Alvarinho and Chardonnay is made exclusively with grapes from the Alvarinho and Chardonnay varieties, two of the most noble white grape varieties in the world. Vinification: Gentle pressing and decantation for 72 hours at a controlled temperature between 8ºC - 16ºC. Fermentation in used barrels with temperature control between 16ºC - 18ºC. Aging: in French oak barrels for 18 months with regular stirring of the lees during the aging months.
