Borges Cxl 140 Red Magnum

BORGES CXL is produced from the best parcels of Touriga Nacional, coming from Quinta da Soalheira, in Douro, and Quinta de São Simão da Aguieira, in Dão.VINIFICATION AND AGING: Total destemming of the grapes. Brief pre-fermentative maceration followed by fermentation in skins for 6-8 days at a controlled temperature of 26-28ºC with relatively frequent pump-overs. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine was separated from the skins with which it fermented and malolactic fermentation was carried out. The entire wine aged in French oak barrels of 225 and 300 liters for an average of 18 months. Each barrel composing the Borges TN TN 140 wine was intentionally selected for each unique characteristic of the grape variety and the year.
