Borges Quinta Da Soalheira Reserve Red 2022

Vinification of Borges Quinta da Soalheira Reserva Tinto Unoaked: the vine's production decreases over time, resulting in more balanced grapes and wines with high concentration and unique elegance. To reveal the full potential of the Quinta da Soalheira vineyards, this unoaked wine was produced without barrel aging, thus highlighting the intense and fresh aromas of the grape. Total destemming of the grapes followed by gentle crushing. Brief pre-fermentative maceration followed by fermentation in skins for 6-8 days at a controlled temperature of 28 ºC with relatively frequent pump-overs. After alcoholic fermentation, a maceration period in contact with the skins is carried out, after which the wine is separated from the skins with which it fermented. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks, undergoing micro-oxygenation to enhance its aromatic profile.
