Borges Touriga Nacional Red 2021

Vinification of Borges Touriga Nacional Red: Total destemming of the grapes followed by gentle crushing. Brief pre-fermentative maceration followed by fermentation in skins for 6-8 days at a controlled temperature of 28 ºC with relatively frequent pump-overs. After alcoholic fermentation, a maceration period is carried out after which the wine is separated from the skins with which it fermented and malolactic fermentation is induced. The entire wine ages in French oak and American oak barrels for 12 months.
