Description
Bafarela Brites Aguiar RedWinemaking: The harvest took place in September with a careful selection of grapes in the vineyard. The destemming was complete and the crushing controlled. It underwent a pre-fermentative skin contact at low temperatures for 48 hours. The fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature, and the maceration with moderate extraction lasted for more than 25 days. In new stainless steel tanks, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation and immediately entered French oak barrels (500 liters) where it aged for 18 months.
