Licor Midori Melon

Melon Midori LiqueurMidori is a vibrant green liqueur with muskmelon flavor, produced by Suntory. It is made in Japan, Mexico, and France, although it was produced exclusively in Japan until 1987. It was created in 1978, with a launch party held at the famous Studio 54 in New York. The name comes from midori, the Japanese word for "green." Because it is extremely sweet, Midori is usually used in cocktails and mixed drinks, such as the Japanese Slipper. It is often combined in long drinks with lemon soda, fresh lemon juice, lime juice, pineapple juice, or orange juice. Acidic flavors are often added to balance its sweetness.
