Menin Grande Reserve White 2022

MENIN GRANDE RESERVA BRANCO is born from the selection of parcels of the ARINTO grape varieties. With a predominance of east-facing sun exposure and schist and granite soils, the different parcels are located at altitudes ranging from 450 to 500m, which requires rigorous monitoring of the maturation of the different terroirs. Vinification of Menin Grande Reserva Branco: After manual harvesting, the grapes are transported in 18kg capacity boxes to preserve the integrity of the bunch. Once at the winery, the boxes are unloaded onto a sorting belt for the first selection of the grapes. This is followed by destemming, berry-by-berry selection, and crushing, after which they are transported by gravity to a pneumatic press. After must clarification, alcoholic fermentation began in oak barrels at low temperatures around 12° C, in order to preserve all the varietal character of the Arinto grape. The alcoholic fermentation lasted approximately 20 days, after which the different components aged for 9 months with periodic bâtonnage.
