Periquita Reserve Red 2023

Periquita Reserva Tinto is a red wine from Portugal, from the Setúbal Peninsula, crafted by the producer Jose Maria da Fonseca. Made from the Castelão, Touriga Nacional, and Touriga Francesa grape varieties, it reveals an engaging aromatic profile with notes of vanilla, oak wood, blackberries, strawberries, currants, violets, and plums. On the palate, the oak and vanilla stand out integrated with the fruit, with good acidity, present but smooth tannins, and a well-persistent finish. It pairs perfectly with red meats and cheeses.
