Ponte Barca Vinhao Reserve Red 2022

Vinification of Ponte da Barca Vinhão Reserva red Vinho Verde: This wine results from a selection of grapes from the queen grape variety of the Vinho Verde Region: Vinhão. The grapes come from the best vineyards of our members, managed with single cordon and ramada training, with an average age of 25 years. They are vinified to extract the maximum qualitative potential, starting with a two-day cold pre-maceration to promote controlled color extraction. Then, alcoholic fermentation occurs only of the liquid, by the action of selected yeasts, followed by co-inoculation with lactic bacteria. Fermentation finishes in French oak barrels, where it remains for a minimum period of 2 to 3 months. The wine remains on bâtonnage until the moment of bottling, for a period never less than 6 months.
