Porto Krohn Harvest 2001

The Porto Colheita Wines are probably the most appreciated and recognized Porto Wines from Krohn. Colheita Portos come from a single year of high quality, having to spend at least seven years in wood. As a rule, they are only bottled immediately before being sold, which can happen long after the seventh year. For this reason, our Colheitas remain in wood for a long period, acquiring over time a mahogany color characteristic of old wines, as well as a fine and complex bouquet, notes of nuts and hazelnuts, and a silky texture.
