Description
The Porto Niepoort Tawny is a great gateway to the magical world of Tawnies. The grapes come from low-yield vineyards in the Cima Corgo region, in the Douro Valley. A relatively young wine, it results from the blend of several harvests and ages, on average, three and a half years in small old oak barrels in the Niepoort cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. The Porto Tawny keeps well for several years, although it does not improve with age. It contains no sediment and does not need to be decanted.
