The Quinta do Crasto 40 years is a Tawny Port wine of age, resulting from aging in Portuguese oak casks of approximately 610 liters for an average period of 40 years. Made from selected Port wines originating from the best vineyards, this blend offers great complexity derived from the older wines, while the younger wines bring fresh fruit flavors and vibrant acidity. During its long aging period, the aged Tawny Ports undergo subtle color changes, acquiring an amber tone and transforming the young, rich fruit into elegance, showing a silky texture and intense, smooth flavors that only time can offer.
