Description
Porto Quinta do Infantado LBV 2021 Vinification: Blend of old vineyard grape varieties, predominantly Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Roriz. Partially destemmed grapes, fermentation in traditional lagares. Use of wine spirit (77% alc./vol) to stop fermentation. Aged for 45 months in an old balseiro (wooden vat over 100 years old). Very light overall, it is a simple and straightforward LBV, with evident fruit, good mouth presence, and already well-rounded tannins. Ambitious and already in excellent shape to be enjoyed again.
