Description
This wine is a remarkable example of the Noval style. It has exactly the same treatment as Vintage Porto Wine: it comes only from noble grape varieties of the Quinta, grapes foot-trodden and is not filtered. What distinguishes it is the fact that it ages four or five years in barrels, instead of two years like Vintage Porto Wine. It is undoubtedly a distinct LBV, with very well-structured tannins, great freshness and fruit purity. It is delicious to drink now, but will age beautifully in the bottle.
