Quinta De Baixo Lagar De Baixo Baga Red 2021

Dirk Niepoort's enormous passion for the Baga grape variety and the fantastic terroir of the Bairrada region led him to seek, over the past years, small plots of Baga in very old vineyards scattered around the Cantanhede area. In 2012, with the acquisition of Quinta de Baixo, it became possible to recreate the Lagar de Baixo brand with a classic profile that dignifies the nobility of the Baga grape in Bairrada. The Lagar de Baixo red is the result of combining very old vineyards with younger ones: a complex and serious red, but with some youth and vigor.
