Quinta Do Carmo Reserve White 2022

This wine originates from selected grapes in the Vinha do Seixo, planted in clay over marble, in the so-called Estremoz Anticline. The blend, composed of the Roupeiro grape harvested in the first week of September and the Arinto picked in mid-September, presents harmony, freshness, and balance. The must of each grape undergoes its alcoholic fermentation 45% in new French oak barrels and the remaining 55% in barrels previously used for fermenting earlier white reserve wines. After the alcoholic fermentation in barrels, two months of batonnage follow, along with a 10-month aging period, always in barrels. This long aging in wood enhances the nobility of this wine.
