Quinta Do Pinto Grande Choice Red Wine

Quinta do Pinto Grande Escolha Tinto is the wine that translates the excellence of the Quinta do Pinto project. From the best grapes of the 2019 harvest, carefully selected, this unique blend of National and French varieties was obtained, resulting in an elegant and distinctive wine. Vinification: Night harvest to preserve all the aromatic components, followed by destemming and slight crushing. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature of 22ºC-25ºC, with gentle daily Delestage, followed by a post-fermentation maceration of 3 weeks for greater extraction of phenolic compounds. The wine aged for 12 months in first and second year French oak barrels, after blending it aged for another 24 months in used barrels. Before bottling, it underwent a light filtration.
