Quinta do Pinto Viognier & Chardonnay WhiteWith the characteristic boldness of Quinta do Pinto, this wine was created from the best productions of Viognier and Chardonnay. Unique for its irreverence that has so greatly praised this agricultural estate. The wait for the right time to harvest these grapes was rewarded by obtaining a harmonious wine, which shows itself rich, automatically complex, and with an elegant and textured palate.Vinification: Night harvest of both varieties. Viognier with partial destemming followed by cold maceration for 4 hours and pressing. Chardonnay with total destemming followed by direct pressing. Clarification of the musts by cold decantation for 48 hours. Fermentation at controlled temperature between 15-16º C with indigenous yeasts, where 50% of the batch fermented in a cement tank and the remaining 50% in 225L French oak barrels of 1st and 2nd year. Aging on fine lees with periodic batonnage for 13 months.
