Quinta Dos Carvalhais Mélange a Trois Red 2022

Melange à 3 conveys the modernity of Carvalhais, a blend of ideas, talent, and boldness, to which we added three grape varieties - Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, and Alfrocheiro - to create a modern, irreverent, and fun wine. The grapes were harvested by variety and plot, with a strict qualitative selection carried out at the time. After gentle destemming and pressing, the grapes were transported by gravity to small stainless steel tanks with temperature control, where they were vinified, variety by variety. Alcoholic fermentation took place over about 8 days, at an average temperature of around 27ºC. Good aging potential, and if stored under optimal conditions, it may show positive development over the next 10 years.
