Description
Description
Vinification of Quinta dos Frades Vinhas Velhas Red Wine: the vineyards for this wine are part of the best terroirs of the estate. Soil mobilization is done by animals. The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and foot-trodden in granite lagares. Fermentation lasts between 6 and 10 days with gentle extraction and temperature control. Aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels, with light toast. Minimum of 12 months aging in bottle.
