Quinta Dos Murças Minas Red 2022

Quinta dos Murças Minas comes from vineyards planted on a slope between 110 and 300 meters in altitude. These vineyards, facing south and more exposed to the sun, produce grapes with greater concentration. On these same slopes, there are several water springs that cool the environment and allow a balance between greater ripening and the freshness so characteristic of Murças. Winemaking of Quinta das Murças Minas Red Wine 2021: Manual harvest, sorting table, destemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures (25º to 28ºC) in granite lagares using foot treading and pressing in an old vertical press. In concrete tanks and used French oak barrels for about 9 months.
